The RM of Elton accepts many methods of payments. Please view the list below for an option that works best for you.

* NEW * Credit Card with OptionPay  | The RM of Elton is pleased to announce that it will now accept payment by VISA or MasterCard for municipal bills & services. All processing fees are charged by OptionPay and are not received by the Municipality. Utilizing OptionPay enables our Municipality to keep our overall payment acceptance processing costs down yet provide individual residents the ability to utilize their credit card for payment of municipal bills & services. All payments will be received by the Municipality within 48 business hours, so please be sure to allow this processing time when making your payment. Also ensure to know your daily and/or transaction processing limit when making credit card payments. Credit Card Rewards are earned on entire purchase, including fees. Online Banking | Online payments can be made through most credit unions. To avoid lates fees, make payments two-three (2-3) business days prior to the due date. See below for setting up the RM of Elton with your online banking for the first time. 1. Add Payee 2. Enter "Elton" into the search field 3. Select RM of Elton Utilities (for water accounts), RM of Elton Taxes (for property taxes), or RM of Elton Accounts Receivables for all other accounts (invoices such as Forrest Bulk Water). 4. Enter your account number: Property Tax Payments: Please use your ROLL NUMBER in the memo when entering payment information for your property taxes. This can be found on your property tax bill. Utility Payments: Please use your ACCOUNT NUMBER which can be found on your utility notice located on the top right portion of the bill. Accounts Receivable: Please use the INVOICE NUMBER which can be found on the invoice located on the top right portion of the bill. |
E-Transfer | Please send all etransfers to info@elton.ca Property Tax Payments: Please use your ROLL NUMBER in the memo when entering payment information for your property taxes. This can be found on your property tax bill. Utility Payments: Please use your ACCOUNT NUMBER which can be found on your utility notice located on the top right portion of the bill. Mail | Cheques and money orders should be made payable to the RM of Elton and can be mailed to: RM of Elton Forrest, MB R0K 0W0 Please make sure that our office receives your payment prior to the due date. Your cheque may be post-dated to the due date. Receipts will only be issued for tax payments unless otherwise stated. |
Drop Box | Our drop box is located at the main entrance of the RM of Elton Municipal Office at 107129 Road 65 N. If you are unable to come to our office during regular business hours (Monday-Thursday 8:30-4:30 and Fridays 8:30 - 3:00) you may place your payment in our drop box. For tax bills and utility payments, pleaseinclude the bottom portion of the bill with your payment. |
